Gravel Pit Update

We are all still waiting for the DRMS to notify us about the public hearing schedule and guidelines regarding the Peak Ranch Resource permit request. We recently received an email from Eric Scott, Environmental Protection Specialist for the DRMS. He says at this time no conference or hearing dates have been scheduled as the Division is still working through the adequacy process with the applicant. 

The Division, last week, received Peak Material's response to the first adequacy letter. The current decision date of January 15, 2021 may be extended by the applicant (Peak) if they feel they require more time to appropriately address adequacy issues.  As soon as conference and hearing dates are scheduled, parties will receive a notification, and the information on the DRMS website will be updated to include the appropriate dates.
