The date for the next Freinds of the Lower Blue River highway cleanup between mile marker 111-113 is set for Saturday, October 1 at 9 AM. (The rain/snow date is October 2). Please meet at the junction of Ute PARK Rd ( not Ute Pass Rd) and Hwy 9. Wear bright clothing to make you more visable to traffic. Also wear heavy footwear and gloves. Doughnuts and juice will be provided. If you plan to come , or think you might come, please email Lynn Amstutz, lynnamstutz@hotmail.com, so enough food can be provided. We can’t guarantee that you’ll find a $100 bill, but that happened last fall. This spring, our best find was a fully inflated basketabll.
